About the Founder

Katy Bennett

When I had my baby I could not imagine going back to my 9-5 job from maternity leave. So I quit my long time career at the credit union and started a very small doormat making business in my kitchen. Plugging in to that creative outlet sparked a love for home decor and ignited a passion for helping people find trendy items for their homes. I found myself in developing my business and becoming a mom. I discovered the truth in believing I can do anything I dream of and I poured all of my energy and confidence into that. I was determined to create a beautiful life for my family, in the midst of a toxic world. Then, I found I wanted to share that positivity with people. I’m blessed beyond measure to have a husband who supports me and together we created The Trend Experience & Shop.
